The APMP Certification program is the only globally recognised professional qualification specifically designed for proposal management professionals. Delivered over two consecutive half-days online, this training workshop helps candidates prepare for the APMP Foundation level examination, covering all the content as approved by the APMP.

This workshop is aimed at those who have at least one year’s experience working in a bids or proposals environment, as well as experienced bid managers who wish to progress to the APMP Practitioner and APMP Professional levels.

Please note that at least one year’s bid or proposal experience is an entry requirement for the APMP exam.

Workshop Content and Structure

The workshop will lead you through APMP’s syllabus, maximising your chance of passing. The course covers each of the five APMP key competency areas in turn:

1.Information Research and Management
2.Scheduling
3.Development
4.Management
5.Sales Orientation

This is a live online workshop run as a Zoom meeting over two consecutive half-days. Links for each day, as well as a PDF version of the course workbook (the slides) will be emailed separately just prior to the workshop.

At the end of the workshop (Day 2), you’ll be given the option to sit the online Foundation exam (one hour, 75 questions, multiple choice).

2. Practitioner Preparation Workshop:

Intermediate to Advanced

The APMP Certification programme is the only globally recognised professional qualification designed specifically for proposal management professionals. The workshop covers all the content as approved by APMP. You then organise and take the 2.5-hour exam in your own time when you are ready.

Practitioner Certification is aimed at those who have worked in a bids or proposals environment for at least three years (this is an entry requirement for the exam) as well as experienced bid managers who wish to progress to the APMP Professional level. You must also have completed (and passed) the APMP Foundation exam, which demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of best practices. The practitioner demonstrates mastery of how to apply best practices and lead others in their use.
