APMP ANZ Chapter Awards
The APMP ANZ Chapter Awards recognises the achievements and contributions of our members in their careers and their contribution to the proposal industry. Our inaugural awards were launched in 2019, coinciding with the 2019 “making an impact” Conference in Melbourne.

2024 Awards
We’re excited to announce the return of the APMP ANZ Awards in 2024.

Nominations Open: Friday 9 February 2024
Nominations Close: Monday 8 April 2024
Finalists Announced: Monday 13 May 2024
Ceremony: 29 May 2024 at the Conference Gala Dinner

Nomination Categories and Descriptions
Please select your nomination across one or more of the four categories by filling the Nomination Form provided at the end of this webpage and attach a document containing responses to the questions with asterisk.

1. High Impact Award (Individual)
For an individual proposal professional who has introduced an initiative or made a significant change that has impacted positively on the bid process during the eligibility period.

  • Provide an overview of your achievements (or the nominee’s achievements) in terms of the initiative or change introduced (750 words) *
  • What was the impact and extent of these achievements on your or the nominee’s career, team, workplace or client/s and why? (750 words) *
  • How have your achievements or the nominee’s achievements demonstrated proposal industry best practice? (750 words) *
  • Attach any files/documents at the end of the form as additional evidence to support your nomination.

2. Proposal Team or Collaboration Award
For a proposal team or collaboration that has demonstrated effectiveness, best practice, leadership and positive impact on a proposal during the eligibility period.

  • Provide an overview of your team’s achievements (or the nominated team’s achievements) in terms of effectiveness, collaboration and leadership (750 words) *
  • What was the impact and extent of these achievements on your or the nominee’s team, workplace, proposal, client/s and why? (750 words) *
  • How have your team’s achievements or the nominated team’s achievements demonstrated industry best practice? (750 words) *
  • Attach any files/documents at the end of the form as additional evidence to support your nomination.

3. Emerging Professional Award (Individual)
For an individual that is new (Less than 3 years in a professional proposal role) who has made a significant impact during the eligibility period.

  • Provide an overview of your journey and achievements (or the nominee’s journey and achievements) during your career in the proposal profession (750 words) *
  • What was the impact and extent of these achievements on your or the nominee’s career, team, workplace or client/s and why? (750 words) *
  • How have your achievements or the nominee’s achievements demonstrated industry best practice? (750 words) *
  • Attach any files/documents at the end of the form as additional evidence to support your nomination.

4. Proposal Industry Contributor Award (Individual or team)
For an individual or team who has/have made a significant contribution or impact towards promoting and advancing the proposal profession during the eligibility period.

  • Provide an overview of your achievements (or the nominee’s achievements) in terms of promoting and advancing the proposal profession (750 words)*
  • What was the impact of these achievements and contribution/s to the proposal profession and/or industry and why? (750 words)*
  • How have your achievements or the nominee’s achievements demonstrated industry best practice? (750 words)*
  • Attach any files/documents at the end of the form as additional evidence to support your nomination.

Overall Criteria for Awards: Each award has specific nomination and assessment criteria, e.g., word limits, attachments, and these are detailed on the submission form for each award. The following general assessment criteria apply to all awards:

  • Who can be nominated? The award nominee(s) may be APMP ANZ members or non-members. Should a non-member be shortlisted as a finalist, then we encourage them to join the APMP ahead of the awards presentation.   • Team Awards: For a team award, team members may or may not be APMP ANZ members.

    Judging Process:

  • Fairness and Neutrality: To preserve an unbiased and fair judging process, members of the judging panel are from a non-affiliated APMP Chapter (that is, not APMP ANZ chapter). The judging panel must declare a conflict of interest to the APMP Awards Sub-Committee if one arises.
  • Eligibility to Nominate: APMP ANZ Committee members are eligible to nominate themselves, their team member(s) or someone from the industry.

    Submission Guidelines:

  • Nomination Per Category: The same individual or team may only be nominated once per category.

  • Confidentiality: To preserve confidentiality, you may anonymise references that identify companies, organisations, programs or individuals.

  • Word Count: All entries are limited by the word count.

  • Finality: Submitted nominations are final. APMP ANZ will not make changes to nominations.
