Introducing the APMP ANZ Certification Sponsorship

We’re proud to launch the inaugural APMP ANZ Certification Sponsorship, an exciting initiative supporting our members on their professional certification journey.

In 2025, APMP ANZ is proud to offer two Certification Sponsorship intakes, one in June and another in September, with each intake awarding a Foundation and a Practitioner certification sponsorship. These sponsorships cover the full cost of your exam, funded by APMP ANZ and include a free Preparation Course, generously provided by BidWrite.

Designed to support members who are ready to advance their professional certification journey, this initiative aims to remove financial and structural barriers, helping you take the next confident step in your career.

The September intake opens on the 1st of September 2025. September applications will close on the 30th September, with winners to be announced in October.

The next round of applications will open in June 2026.

How We Judge APMP ANZ Certification Sponsorship Applications

The APMP ANZ Certification Sponsorship Program is designed to support eligible members on their certification journey, and we take care to assess all applications fairly and consistently.

Eligibility First

Before judging begins, all applications are reviewed to ensure they meet the mandatory eligibility criteria. This includes confirming the applicant is a current APMP member. Applications that do not meet these criteria are not assessed further.

Blind Judging

To uphold fairness and avoid unconscious bias, all identifying information—such as names, email, and member numbers—is removed from applications before judging.

Scoring Process

Each application is independently reviewed by four judges. Judges evaluate responses across five questions, with each question scored out of 5 points (a total of 25 points per judge, or 100 points maximum across the panel).

One of the five criteria is readability and clarity, which allows judges to consider factors such as spelling and grammar, structure, use of word count, tone, and how engaging the response is to read. This ensures we reward not just what is said, but how well it is communicated.

Applications are ranked based on their total score. Judges may also meet to discuss close scores and confirm final selections.

If you have any questions about the process, please reach out to the APMP ANZ Committee.
