Can current and past APMP ANZ Committee members and volunteers nominate for an award?
Yes. Our committee members and volunteers are often very proactive in supporting APMP ANZ initiatives, and they are not conflicted from, and are encouraged to nominate. Submissions are judged by an independent international judging panel that is not affiliated with the APMP ANZ Chapter.

How do I write a strong nomination?
If you’re not sure where to start, you may wish to use a simple structure to keep your responses clear and easy to score. For each question, you may wish to consider covering:

  • The challenge or context: What was happening, and why did it matter?

  • Actions: What did the nominee (or team) do, and what was their specific role?

  • Outcomes: What changed as a result?

  • Impact: Why was it important, and who benefited (team, client, organisation, community, profession)?

  • What makes it best practice: What did they do particularly well, or differently?

To lift the quality of nominations, we encourage you to include evidence within your responses rather than leaving it implied. This can be simple and practical, for example: results or metrics (where appropriate), concrete examples, client or stakeholder feedback, testimonials, quality improvements, time savings, capability uplift, or meaningful professional contributions.

Hot tip: Draft your answers in Word first, check you’re within the 750-word limit per question, then copy and paste into the form as plain text (no bullet points, indents or tables). Strong responses are typically 400–700 words.
