Would you like to earn Continuing Education Unit (CEU)/Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for your contribution?
The APMP ANZ Chapter is inviting nominations to serve on the committee for 2026. We strongly encourage you to consider nominating and making an even greater contribution to your career and our profession. A summary of committee and subcommittee roles are described in this document.
Volunteering with the APMP offers a unique opportunity to engage with professionals in the bidding community while contributing to meaningful initiatives. The capacity and workload for each role may fluctuate, reflecting the specific needs of the organisation and individual commitments. To facilitate collaboration and communication among team members, the Committee will meet online for one hour each month. These meetings provide a platform for discussing objectives, sharing updates, and coordinating efforts, helping to foster a strong sense of community among volunteers as they work towards common goals.
About APMP & the ANZ Chapter:
APMP is the worldwide authority for professionals dedicated to winning business through proposals, bids, tenders, and presentations. The organisation was started in 1990 and now has 27 chapters in 79 countries.
The ANZ Chapter was formed in late 2008 for all proposal professionals in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region. The APMP ANZ Chapter has grown to over 600 members, up from 250 members in 2019.
It is a particularly exciting phase as the APMP ANZ Chapter is strengthening its voice as an industry body with a core focus on awareness, credibility and community.
Nomination Process:
Committee nominations will close on [date] in advance of the Annual General Meeting. Committee and subcommittee roles will be announced at the AGM.
Committee
We have provided a concise description of the tasks associated with each committee role, as undertaken by our dedicated volunteers. The overview is intended to give nominees a clear understanding of the responsibilities and expectations for each position.
All members of the ANZ Chapter are eligible for office. Committee roles are voting roles and require attendance at monthly meetings (no more than one hour in duration).
To nominate yourself (or someone else with their permission), you will be directed to complete a form which will include key information such as:
Name
Position of choice (we encourage you to select multiple options to avoid disappointment)
A brief professional profile, no more than 300 words, is needed, including how you can best contribute to the profession.
Subcommittees (various)
As above, this document provides an overview of subcommittee roles. Subcommittee roles are non-voting roles and have a meeting cycle separate to the main committee. These are led by a committee member and support the achievement of initiatives of the ANZ Chapter.
If there is only one candidate nominated for any given position, that person will be elected. Once the call for nominations has officially closed, more details about voting and election deadlines (if required) will be provided.
